Sveti Ivan Island

St. Ivan Island is the largest Bulgarian island in the Black Sea, located about one kilometer from the old town of Sozopol. It is known for its rich archaeological heritage, the remains of a medieval monastery, its historic lighthouse and its protected natural environment. Combining dramatic rocky scenery with important historical significance, the island is one of the most remarkable cultural and природни landmarks along the southern Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
