El Kapan

El Kapan is a beloved seafood restaurant and beach bar located directly on the seafront at the Northern Sea Baths (Severni Morski Bani), on the Kraybrezhna Aleya (Coastal Alley) of Varna, Varna Municipality, Varna Region — one of the most scenic and animated stretches of the Varna Sea Garden. The restaurant has been a fixture on the Varna seafront for over 10 years and is inspired by the philosophy of Bob Marley's "One Love, One Heart" — a mood of warmth, freedom, and effortless enjoyment that defines the El Kapan experience. The setting combines a stylish beach terrace directly above the sea with a vibrant atmosphere of rhythm and colour, making it equally suited to a relaxed seaside lunch, a sunset dinner, or an evening with cocktails and music. The restaurant opens each season from 10 April and is open from 09:00 to 02:00. The menu is a creative fusion of seafood, Mediterranean, and international cuisine with an emphasis on fresh ingredients and bold flavour combinations. Signature dishes include tuna fillet with lollo rosso, cherry tomatoes, avocado, edamame, sesame, mango salsa and Hawaiian dressing; pasta with mussels, dried tomatoes, capers, spinach, arugula, zucchini and basil pesto; teriyaki salmon with edamame, cucumber, coco-lime basmati and pickled vegetables; and a selection of burgers, wraps, and grills alongside fresh fish specialities and a wide selection of fresh salads. The cocktail menu is creative and Caribbean-inspired. Service is consistently described as attentive, friendly, and professional.
