Saint Nedelya Orthodox Cathedral

The Cathedral Church of St. Nedelya is one of the most important Orthodox temples in Sofia and a key spiritual center of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church. Located in the very heart of the city, the cathedral is dedicated to Saint Nedelya and has a long and complex history marked by destruction and reconstruction. The current building dates from the 20th century and is distinguished by its monumental architecture and richly decorated interior.
