mátzalo Center

mátzalo Center is a ceramic painting studio tucked away on Petar Parchevich Street 48, on the corner with Hristo Belchev, just a short walk from Vitosha Boulevard and NDK metro station. The concept is simple but refreshing: you pick a raw ceramic piece — anything from mugs and plates to bowls, vases, and small figurines — and paint it however you like, while the studio takes care of the glazing and firing afterwards. Alongside the creative part, the space offers good coffee, tea, and wine, making it a relaxed spot for an afternoon with friends, a date, or a quiet couple of hours on your own. The studio also hosts birthday parties, hen dos, and team-building events with the help of an in-house assistant called a "matzalist." A reservation is recommended, as the central location fills up quickly on weekends.
