Momentum Indoor Climbing Sofia

Walltopia Climbing Center — now operating as Momentum Climbing Sofia since September 2024 — is the largest indoor climbing gym in Bulgaria, located at 111V Tsarigradsko Shose Boulevard, right next to the Walltopia HQ building. Opened in 2016 by the Bulgarian-born global leader in climbing wall manufacturing, the facility spans 1,731 square meters of climbing terrain, with rope walls reaching up to 17 meters and a generous bouldering area for shorter, powerful routes. The gym features innovative touches like LED holds and an accompanying mobile app that lets climbers select and share routes, alongside a dedicated training room with campus boards, hangboards, and a system board. Beginner sessions are available for first-timers, and the gym also hosts kids' day camps and birthday parties. As of 2024 it's part of the American Momentum Climbing chain, which has brought longer weekend hours and expanded access for younger climbers.
