DABOV Specialty Coffee Vitosha sits at 192 Vitosha Boulevard, a little further down from the busy central stretch, in a quieter section of the street. It's one of several Sofia locations of the roastery founded by Jordan Dabov — one of Bulgaria's most recognized names in specialty coffee and the country's only juror at the international Cup of Excellence competition. Here the focus is on the coffee itself: beans sourced directly by Dabov from farms across Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Ethiopia, and beyond, roasted in-house and served both as classic espresso drinks and as filter brews. The atmosphere leans calm and a bit studious — closer to a tasting room than a grab-and-go café — with knowledgeable baristas who will happily walk you through what's on the menu. A good stop for anyone who takes their coffee seriously, or wants to try something beyond the usual latte.
