    Savi Gelato & Specialty Coffee

Savi Gelato is a small artisan gelateria tucked into a quiet side street just off Plovdiv's Main Street, at Nayden Gerov Street 17 — a short detour that's become something of a pilgrimage for anyone who takes ice cream seriously. The concept is firmly in the "real gelato" camp: proper Italian-style gelato made by hand, with organic milk, French chocolates, and untreated fruit sourced from small local gardens. The result is a rotating, short menu of flavors that balance classics with unexpected ones — pistachio, almond, milk chocolate, lavender, and authorial creations — with plant-based, keto, and gluten-free options making regular appearances. There are also specialty coffee drinks and French-style crepes (which reviewers single out as genuinely well-made). Savi is part of a small Bulgarian gelato brand — founded by Savina — with two more shops in Sofia (on San Stefano Street and near South Park), and the Plovdiv branch is the only location outside the capital. The space is built as a counter and takeaway rather than a sit-down café: no indoor seating and no restroom, so it's best treated as a stop rather than a destination for a long break. Consistently one of the highest-rated gelaterias in Bulgaria on review sites, and a reliable summer-afternoon move in Plovdiv.
