Musoni restaurant

Musoni is a seafood-focused restaurant in Plovdiv, set inside the City Park Inn hotel complex at Engineer Stefan Hristov Geshov Street 3, in the Mladezhki Halm area, close to Mall Plovdiv. The concept is right there in the name — "Musoni" meaning "Monsoons" — and the whole place is built around the idea of bringing the sea inland: Mediterranean cuisine, fresh fish and seafood, squid and octopus, alongside pasta and risotto, with an interior that leans into maritime touches. The kitchen is led by chef Alexander Bardarov, who works with a more polished, fine-dining sensibility — carefully plated dishes, layered flavors, and desserts with real ambition (mousses, confits, mirror glazes). The menu still keeps room for Bulgarian classics like a proper shopska salad and grilled kashkaval, alongside seasonal options like roasted-pumpkin salad with beetroot and feta, so it works for groups with mixed preferences. A wine list curated with care and a calm, higher-end atmosphere round things out.
