    DAGLOV Bakeshop

DAGLOV Bakeshop is a boutique bakery in Plovdiv, set on the ground floor of the new Korona residential complex at Peshtersko Shose Boulevard 133, in the Hristo Smirnenski district (Zapaden area) — a short drive west of the city center. The place is run by the Daglov family, bakers with more than twenty years of experience behind them; this is their newest location, and a more modern, design-led extension of the craft they've been building over the years. The interior is the work of Plovdiv's Frame Architecture & Design studio, with around 180 square meters of warm, carefully thought-through space built around the bread displays. The counter covers both sides of modern artisan baking: traditional sourdough and handmade Bulgarian loaves alongside more contemporary creations — croissants (notably ones filled with molten chocolate and pistachio cream), French macarons, pastries, and a rotating selection of healthier baked goods. Coffee is handled with equal attention — barista-made cappuccinos that regulars single out alongside the bread itself. The format is self-service, but the staff has a reputation for being genuinely welcoming. A natural pick for breakfast, a morning pastry-and-coffee stop, or for picking up a loaf of proper bread on the way home — and a good detour for anyone staying in the west of Plovdiv or passing through Hristo Smirnenski.
