MEDUSA
Medusa is one of Burgas' newer and most design-led restaurants, a pan-Asian spot on Adam Mickiewicz Street 7 — just a short walk from the Pantheon monument and the Sea Garden. The concept is built around balance: measured combinations of salty, spicy, sour and sweet flavors in the kitchen, paired with an interior that leans into modern orientalism — a mix of warm and cool materials, soft cozy lighting, and real plants layered through the space. The menu covers the full pan-Asian spectrum with real care in the plating: Chinese classics like Chao Fan fried rice with shrimp and Kung Pao chicken, Thai-leaning dishes with red curry duck and sea bass in banana leaf, crispy calamari, tempura vegetables, spring rolls with duck or pork, and the signature Japanese "fluffy" pancakes with lime cream and salted caramel that reviewers regularly single out. There's a proper business lunch from 12:00 to 16:00 on weekdays (served as multi-course sets), a dedicated kids' menu, a coffee program with beans roasted on a special Dutch machine on-site, and an evening hookah offering after 18:00 with some of the better shisha setups in the city. Medusa works from 9:00 to 23:00 during the week and stays open until 1:00 on Friday and Saturday. A natural pick for a long dinner with friends, a family gathering, a business lunch, or a stylish evening with cocktails and shisha — and one of the more ambitious attempts in Burgas to bring serious pan-Asian cooking together with real design.
