    Fish express

Fish Express is a small but seriously good fast-casual fish spot in central Burgas, on Tsar Simeon I Street 20 — a short walk from the Central Beach, the Sea Garden, and the main pedestrian zone. As the name suggests, the concept is quick and fish-focused: a short, tight menu built around freshly cooked fish, with everything prepared on the spot after you order. The house specialty is the fish sandwich — Balık ekmek — made in the Turkish street-food tradition with mackerel or sea bass, fresh salad, and homemade bread, alongside fish soup that regulars rate as some of the best in the city. The wider menu covers veal meatballs, chicken fillets, grilled fish plates, fresh salads, soups, lentil soup, and side fries, paired with homemade lemonades, cold beer, and a German draft pour. Prices stay firmly in the fast-food range despite the quality, which is why the place has built up a loyal local following alongside consistently strong reviews on TripAdvisor and Google. The space is small but characterful — more street-food corner than restaurant, with seating outside in warmer weather — and it works equally well as a takeaway stop or a sit-down lunch. Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00. A natural pick for a quick, fresh, fish-heavy meal during a day at the beach or when wandering around the center, without the price tag of a proper sit-down fish restaurant.
