Raffy Bar & Gelato on Vitosha Boulevard is a large, modern venue set at the start of Sofia's main pedestrian stretch, at 18 Vitosha Boulevard. Part of the Bulgarian Raffy chain — which originally built its name on homemade gelato — the spot has grown into a three-in-one complex: a ground-floor bar and restaurant, the panoramic Raffy Terrassa Bar on the second floor, and a club space for DJ nights. The menu is broad, moving from the signature ice cream and desserts to fresh salads, Italian and international dishes, fish specialties, and sushi. With around 170 seats and a steady chill-out soundtrack during the day, the venue works for everything from a casual coffee or scoop of gelato on the pedestrian boulevard, to dinner with friends, a long summer evening on the terrace, or a late-night drink.
