Prince's Garden

The Knyazheska Garden is one of Sofia’s oldest and most elegant city parks, located in the historic center near the National Assembly and Sofia University. Created in the late 19th century, the garden was designed as a representative green space during the early years of modern Sofia. With its tree-lined alleys, lawns and monuments—including the Tsar Liberator Monument—it offers a calm and refined atmosphere for walking and relaxation. Today, the Knyazheska Garden remains a valued urban oasis and an important part of the capital’s historical landscape.
