    Rozhen National Astronomical Observatory

    The National Astronomical Observatory “Rozhen” is the largest astronomical research facility in Southeast Europe and a key center for scientific observation and discovery. Situated in the Rhodope Mountains at an altitude of 1750 meters, the observatory provides exceptional conditions for studying the universe. It is equipped with several powerful telescopes, including the renowned 2-meter Ritchey–Chrétien telescope, which enables advanced research in stellar physics, galaxies, and near-Earth objects.
