Roman Aqueduct
The Roman Aqueduct of Plovdiv is a remnant of the ancient water-supply system that once brought fresh water to the city of Philippopolis. Dating back to the 2nd–3rd century AD, the aqueduct originally stretched for several kilometers. Today, only fragments of its stone structure remain, offering a glimpse into the advanced engineering and urban planning of the Roman era.
