Mevlevi Hane

The Mevlevi Hane in Plovdiv is a former dervish lodge of the Mevlevi Order, known for its association with the whirling dervishes. Built during the Ottoman period, the complex once served as a religious and cultural center where rituals, music, and spiritual practices took place. Today, only fragments of the structure remain, but the site is an important historical landmark reflecting the city’s multicultural past.
