Hindliyan House
The Hindliyan House in Plovdiv’s Old Town is one of the finest examples of Bulgarian Revival architecture. Built in 1835 for the wealthy merchant Stepan Hindliyan, the house is famous for its richly decorated interior, Oriental-inspired wall paintings, elegant woodcarvings, and authentic furniture. Today, it functions as a museum, offering visitors an immersive look into the luxurious lifestyle of Plovdiv’s prominent merchant families during the 19th century.
