Panorama Pleven Epopee 1877
The Pleven Panorama “Pleven Epopee 1877” is one of Bulgaria’s most impressive museum complexes, dedicated to the events of the Russo-Turkish War and the historic Siege of Pleven. Opened in 1977 to mark the 100th anniversary of the liberation, the panorama combines painting, sculpture and architecture into a single immersive art space. Its central circular hall features a monumental 360-degree canvas depicting the dramatic battles around Pleven, bringing history to life with striking detail and emotional intensity. Surrounded by a memorial park, the museum is a symbol of national remembrance and a must-see cultural landmark in Pleven.
