Dock 5 Burgas is one of the city's most distinctively located restaurants, set right on the quay of the Port of Burgas, in the Marina complex next to the historic Sea Station (Morska Gara). The concept leans into the setting: a "city restaurant" that happens to sit between the sea and the city, on what used to be the missing berth number 5 of the old port — a place that, more than a century ago, was the beating heart of Burgas, where goods, sailors, merchants and travelers first set foot in the country. The restaurant opened in 2019 and quickly became a go-to for both locals and visitors. The menu is Mediterranean-leaning with a strong seafood focus, alongside Bulgarian, Italian and Greek influences — carefully plated dishes ranging from burrata salads and risottos to proper fish and grilled seafood, plus a regular program of themed weeks featuring guest chefs and foreign cuisines. The space is built for flexibility: a 70-seat indoor dining room, a 90-seat winter garden (smoking area), and a 200-seat open terrace on the quay with views of arriving ships, the lighthouse, and the purple sunsets over the water. Dock 5 also works as a full-scale catering operation and hosts weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations; there's a separate Night Club Dock 5 for later in the evening. A natural pick for a long, scenic lunch or dinner, a business meeting with a view, or a special occasion where the setting does half the work.
