    Museum "Velyan house"

Velyanova House is one of the most remarkable architectural monuments of the Bulgarian National Revival in the town of Bansko. Built in the early 19th century, the house impresses with its fortress-like appearance, thick stone walls, secret passages, and richly decorated interiors. Its wall paintings, carved wooden ceilings, and ornamental details reflect the high artistic taste and craftsmanship of the period. Today, Velyanova House functions as a museum, offering visitors a vivid insight into the lifestyle, culture, and aesthetic values of affluent Bulgarian families during the Revival era. It is considered one of the finest examples of residential architecture in southwestern Bulgaria.
